Savage South in Ride BMX Magazine

So I got the new issue of Ride BMX in the mail the other day (the one with Chase Hawk on the cover), and as I was flipping through the pages I saw the Savage South Aster/Iowa St. shirt. Pretty effin sweet. It is in the Staff Picks section on page 23- Fat Tony representing for sure!



Speaking of Fat Tony, I'll be hanging out with him on the road for the next week or two on the Props Rock N Roll Tour 2. Fat is covering the trip for www.bmxonline.com and I'll be on the trip filming for Props. Should be a blast, I don't believe Fat and I have been on a trip together in over a year. Pretty strange, being that we used to go out of town together every weekend.



After I get back from the Rock Tour I head out to Germany for the BMX Masters contest. Yeah, Props is letting me loose in the land of the Germans. Should be a pretty wild contest. Check it out over at www.bmxmasters.com.

Red Stick Ramblin

Lou and Geoff are in Baton Rouge right now along with their trusty sidekick Larkin. The sessions have been heated (literally) and many gallons of water have been consumed in the last 12 hours. I believe the beer consuming will probably begin shortly...

DRB 2nd Anniversary

Everyone is invited to come on down to Baton Rouge and hang out at the 2nd Anniversary party for Dirt Road Bicycles. Last year's party was a complete blast and this year looks to be the same. There will be bands, food, riding and chilling going on so make the trip over to Jones Creek Road and hang out with the Savage Crew.

So I can't really post stuff like this on LouisianaBMX.com for certain reasons, but I thought the Savage crew would get a kick out of this. As far as I know, the woman below has a public access TV show based in Atlanta where she gives out sexual advice. From what I've seen its more of an off the cuff rant than actual advice but I'll let you make up your own mind.



Sorry there's no BMX content but there's more to life than riding bikes. Like rationing out the dick like the government gives out cheese.

Here's Lil Pat- he's back in Memphis for the time being but should be in Baton Rouge sometime this weekend. But that is depending on Beckmeyer, which means there is about a 20% chance of him actually making it back. Keep your fingers crossed.


Brandon Sanford is in New Orleans right now trying to dodge the rain and get in a killer street session before coming back up to BR.


Hailing from Las Vegas, David Gamble has become a full time resident of the BMX community in Baton Rouge. He was planning on leaving BR to head back to Vegas but recent developments in Baton Rouge may have convinced him to stay...


Everyone's favorite BR import, Micky Marshall. This dude doesn't know when to quit. Be on the lookout for some crazy stuff from this crazy dude.

As you can tell from the pics the majority of riding in BR has been on the Majestic Thrillseeker. I did get to go film some street stuff with Michael Allen and TJ Gills last night for Michael's second video, Louisiana Young Guns II. The riding in this new flick will be waaayyyy better than the first video. The "Young Guns" are hittin it hard!
